DCDanceNet evolved rapidly from the early days as a small eMail list to the present combination of the DanceNews eMail Updates with more than 2900 Dancers subscribed, and the Mid-Atlantic DanceNet and The Washington DCDanceNetWeb Sites Beginning with the Ballroom Dance scene, The DanceNet grew rapidly in response to the demand for information on all types of Dancing. Coverage expanded to include Ballroom, Swing, Hustle, Latin/Salsa, Shag, Argentine Tango, Clogging, Square Dancing, Tap links to Country & Western, and more. New styles and categories are added as Dancers from the local area and beyond send in a constant stream of Dance news, and information for DanceNet's DanceNews eMail Updates and Website Event Calendars.
